Facebook. People are spending a major time of their day on these social networks.

have in common. The first person is you yourself and the second person is the one
whose profile you are viewing.
This means that, when you are viewing a profile of any of your friend, the mutual
friend is the list that you both the friends have friends in common. Sounds confusing,
but it’s too easy.
Let us take an example like your name is Peter (assuming) while your friend’s name
whose profile you are viewing is Charlie (again assumption), then mutual friends
are the friends list that both Peter and Charlie have in common. This lets us view
how many friends we have in common.
The main purpose of showing this list of Mutual Friends may be acknowledgement of
common friends between two facebook users, so that they can know whom to trust and
whose profile is fake.
