This is very annoying when you gets an error like “This Copy of Windows is not genuine” on Windows 7, this is because either you are not running genuine copy of Windows or your license got expired, there is also chance that a windows update can cause this problem, in all these three cases you gets error at the computer start up that Windows is not genuine, and also computer background changed to black screen. If you have tried entering CD Key again and again or used any software / Patch to crack windows activation but still you gets error like Windows 7 not genuine or, this copy of windows is not genuine build 7600 / 7601, finally you had no luck then this tutorial is for you.

Steps To Fix ” This copy of Windows is not genuine” Error.
METHOD 1
Step.1 Go to Start menu and search for cmd , you will get cmd.exein search result here do
a Right Click on cmd.exe and click on Run as Administrator, and you will get Command Prompt.
Step. 2. Once the command prompt is opened now type the following command, SLMGR -REARM , make sure you type the same command without any mistake, and also ensure that command prompt is opened in administrator mode otherwise it will not work.
Step 3. Once you typed the above command in command prompt window then hit Enter button on your keyboard to execute the above command.
Step 4. After you hit enter a confirmation window will appear with the details of command execution as.
Step 5. Now Restart your computer you will not get that error again like Windows 7 build 7600/7601 This copy of windows is not genuine.
If Method No 1 Is Not Working Use Method 2
METHOD 2
In this method you should delete a update file which name started with KB971033.
Step 1. Open Control Panel >System & Security
Step 2.Go To Windows Update >Installed Updates
Step 3. After Loading All Files Check For KB971033 >Uninstall
Step 4.Restart PC.
After problem is fix do one thing for not update your os.
Step 1. Open Control Panel >System & Security >
Windows Update >Settings >Click on" install updates automatically(recomended)"
Step 2.Select "never check for updates(not recomended)"
